2018-11-20 | Please find enclosed our price graph for Turkish sultanas. In 2018 price went up from TRY 6,00 p.kg to TRY 9,60 today based on Type 9 raw material. This is about 62,5 % increase. In the same period Turkish Lira lost in value against the USD with about 35 %. Turkish sultanas price appreciation in USD is 27,5%. The EURO lost in value with about 3 % during the last 12 months against USD. Price increase for sultanas from Turkey in EURO is + 30 % until today. The raw material price trend is firm. The Turkish Lira quoted within a range of TRY 4,80 – TRY 6,80. Today we are at TRY 5,30 with some phantasy for growth.
