We are currently in Manisa. Exports are only 5% behind the previous year. However, there is a demonstrable shortfall of 50,000 MT in 2024. Germany and the UK have imported much less than during the last year. Traditional importers have sourced much less from Turkey in September - November 2023 and cannot build up stocks. The commitments made by importers in Turkey are much lower than in the previous year. Turkey has hardly any inquiries, although new contracts would have to be concluded promptly.
